Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
I picked up my first 35 mm film camera as a means to make friends at a new school. For me, there was a camaraderie in working around each other in the small darkroom waiting for our photos to develop. It was an opportunity to share my perspective and to see the different perspectives of those around me. This is what I love about photography, the ability to communicate (&transform) the way you (&others) see the world.
Whether taking photos of the interior of a room, an event or a portrait of a friend, this is what I strive to bring to & share through my photography – a new, unique perspective.
